Sabine Timm IV

Sabine Timm has been assembling more magic, and as I love Golden Oriole's I wanted to share her interpretation of this beautiful bird. If you haven't heard one sing then please brighten your Monday morning and have a listen here.

Pep Carrio I

I am longing to do some work in the woodwork studio, but my time is tied up for a few weeks.
Until I can satisfy this need to make some wooden objects I am going to happily enjoy works such as these characters by Pep Carrio assimilations of found objects, full of character and fun.

Francoise Cuxac

Francoise Cuxac is an artist who will use anything in her assemblages, the results are often quite disturbing as you realise you are looking at chicken feet or birds skulls, but they are also quite magical and work within symbolism of birth life and death.
"I am interested in anything that may indicate an experience, the objects of the past are also witnesses of life through those to whom they belonged, they account for happiness or painful scars. These objects are not related to a nostalgia of the past but they allow me to re-live materials destined to disappear . . . The old photographs that I use are mottled in flea markets, they are damaged, covered in dust in the middle of broken objects : faces of people who have lived, who have something to tell: I turn them into dreamers, I bring a new life, they become one with a dreamlike dimension." Flavio Morais

Flavio Morais's assemblages. There is something magical about art work in boxes and cobbled together from scraps and flotsam and jetsom of modern life. Flavio Morais makes these wonderful works, but is also an amazing illustrator, animator and designer.

James (extrabox)

Today I found James's 'Object Poem's' or assemblages, but then I got distracted by James's Tumbler which I also loved, hope you like them to.
