Kristina Sabaite

A Lithuanian children's book illustrator living in Spain, Kristina Sabaite's work is a delight. Her red riding hood broaches necklaces and rings, but best of all I love her rabbits.

Happy Doodle Land

Flora does it again, and wins my heart with this wonderful illustration.

Freya's picture of me, Yes those are bags!

Today, to combat flu cabin fever, we played with pasta. The creations are now going hard ready to paint, sticky messy fun, and a good way to rid yourself of pasta, purchase, mistakes (the intestine like tube pasta is not good).

I love this sheet of painted faces, I find it really inspiring, it is painted faces for textile dolls by Mary Stanley. http://marystanley.blogspot.com

Printing with...

...Finlay's rubber band ball, made very interesting marks, and is good to grip onto for small hands or hands that don't do what their owners want them too.

Anne Beth Borselius

In a similar style to Gertie's bird cage is this work by ceramicist Anne-Beth Borselius who's work I discovered today at http://pinkpagodastudio.blogspot.com/ to see more of this wonderful Swedish artists work, here is her website; http://www.annebeth.se/

Illness and spirogyra

A day at home, as everyone is ill except me (the nurse), has led to bouts of spirogyra. May be for a mobile, may be for shhhhh (Christmas) maybe just for fun.
