Tania Kovats

A rare visit from far away friends led us to 'Rivers' by Tania Kovats currently exhibited at Jupiter Art Land.  In a boat shed next to a pond of moulting swans, beautiful bottles of water stand proud on their shelves holding close their amazing, translucent, life-giving magic . . . water. 100 hundred samples of water from 100 rivers.

“I think water has a memory. It is our solvent that carries the sediments of place, time and experience.” Tania Kovats

The equally beautiful and evocative names of all of the rivers are alphabeicaly carved in panels outside the boats shed.
