Joff's House




Joff's house isn't finished yet, but I wanted to share some of its beautiful structure with you.
The talent and craftsmanship is so intense, its almost from a bygone age, when people had pride in their work and the skills to match. I love the way he has thought about how his house could provide a habitat for other creatures, and has included bird and bat boxes in the eve's.

Plane inspiration by Sibusiso Punch Mbhele



Sibusiso Punch Mbhele saw his first aeroplane ages 17 and announced to his friends that he was going to make one. His determination and inspiration has taken him on an amazing journey of creativity.
Above is one of the results of this life changing passion. Sibusiso has gone from constructing planes out of wire and flattened tin cans to using wrecked vehicles to construct helicopters and his hybrid (plane/helicopter/fish) home as pictured above.

Floating Ukrainian House


This amazing structure is a cantilever barn originally created to store fertilizer. It is now rumoured to be being used as a house. I would love to stay in it, it looks so incongruous.
