EunHee Lee

Cafe scene by EunHee Lee. As the world closes I seem to seek out crowds in illustrations.

Kwang-Kyu Kong

'Cheongyang Market' is a gentle book beautifully illustrated and written by Korean poet and illustrator Kwang-Kyu Kong observing the similarities between man and animal and the characters of village markets, published by Grassandwind Publishing.
The illustrations have a wonderful printed scumble effect and feel quite retro and charming.

Lee Haery

It is always very difficult to share Korean illustration, often you cannot find an English translation of the name so that you cannot even search for them. This year translations were provided at Bologna but the publishers are super protective and secretive and hate you documenting their books in any way. This book by Jeong-Sun Choy is called 'Guess Who' and is illustrated by Lee Haery using simple but very effective ink drawings combined with real foliage.
