ISIA Urbino I

One of the great developments at this years fair was the increasing opportunity for participation in masterclasses and surgeries. One platform for creativity was provided by ISIA Urbino, who provided posters with triggers of shape and colour to free the imagination and for a while and lose oneself, from the hustle of the fair, in a pause of creativity. Below are some examples of different creative interpretation of the shapes.

I was reminded of Marika Maijala's work this week with these wonderful drawings. I especially like the sleeping bag ones they look so cozy and comfortable.

Marika Maijala 's lovely, gentle, quiet illustrations always seem to have a wonderful slow pace, this one is very clever with it's subtly layered pattern.
