Komako Sakai I

Beautiful  illustrations by Japanese artist/ illustrator Komako Sakai. Komako Sakai's remind me with their realism and emotion of the work of Paula Modersohn-Becker. Komako worked as  a textile designer before becoming an award winning illustrator.

  1. Gorgeous - so delicate. Her work reminds me of Odilon Redon's mysterious artworks too.

  3. I love and admire the very emotional Art from Komako Sakai and the Art of Paula Modersohn Becker is one of my most inspiring artist. And yes, you are perfectly thrue about the same emotions coming from them, I did never see that before and now you say it, yes i see it, I feel it I should say.

P.S. hope my poor english is understandable... :/
