Sachiko Abe cuts paper into gossamer threads,creating sculptures that look like they were made by a giant insect and resemble wasp nests or cocoons or spider's webs. Often Sachiko Abe'sworks are installations made with an audience witnessing the passing of time accompanied by the sound of ever snipping scissors.
Maybe there's a video somewhere…? I wish the photos were bigger… What I see here reminds me of snow falling and things just getting more and more quiet.
