Needed to do something cheerful with the students, in their first few days back of term. So we have used bright paper to make little garlands, perfect for putting up in those drab, post Christmas, winter days.

Today in windy wet Fife my students mastered Kite making, hopefully at sometime during the weekend they will get the opportunity to fly them, I hope they soar...

Shadows

Shadow Puppet production of little Red Riding Hood by my students, every year I teach some students about Shadow puppets and challenge them to put on a performance, the results are wonderful.

Fag Friday Four

My wonderful students have been working for some weeks on a rubbish project, for this years graffiti art, roundabout endeavour.

Fags are only one element of it, but as they are finished, we have taken some photo's in lovely fag butty locations. and this is why I have had a fag Friday.

The Big Draw 2008

For three years now we have participated in the Big Draw.

The first year 2006 everyone created an amazing rendition of the Forth Rail Bridge.

In 2007 we attempted a pop art version of Adam Smith.

For 2008 everyone participated in creating Big Heids, (big heads) here are some of them and more are available to view on flikr at thebigdraw group. The Big Draw is a wonderful challenge and it is great to get people 'drawing' who wouldn't normally, their enthusiasm was amazing.http://www.flickr.com/groups/809726@N24/
