This is just the most fantastic campaign against pollution and littering. I have admired it for a long time. The shopping trolleys reminded me of it because they are the most prolific inhabitants of the estuary here. Klas Ernflo is an illustrator and graphic artist of great ingenuity and style.

For years now we have harboured a motley collection of pirates. At last I have managed to get them box framed, after nipping to a charity shop to find an old atlas, so hopefully they won't accidentally loose any limbs any more.They are made from air drying clay with bits of old wire, beads shells and drift wood and sticks collected on outings and trips. Its great fun creating creating pirates from things you find on trips and adds to good memories when you treasure is incorporated into these old sea dogs.

Having a tin day today, these domestic scenes are created by the artist Lucy Carson, using basic equipment, I love their humour and observation. I have been watching a video about lots of artists and she is one of my favourites, I would love to have a go at recycling some tins in this way, but it could be the start of a new bad habit, street combing.
