Santa's beards

I was trying to hold off until December for anything remotely Christmas, however there are still fallen leaves, from autumns last breath, and they make great beards!

Still not quite sure what is going to come of my autumn leaf collection, but I have been using them to collage, I would love to work with kids with this technique and see what they would make.

Halloween Bats

It is the beginning of the Halloween weekend.
This year's leafy offering is in the form of bats painted onto Tulip tree leaves. Tulip trees are beautiful trees and if you haven't got one near you then I recommend that you plant one, but be warned they grow very large.
