I'm sorry I have been largely missing this week. My life just keeps on changing massively and currently I barely have time to breathe with work and caring responsibilities.  

I have been doing many Halloween workshops so I thought I would share some of the spiders the children have been creating. Happy Halloween to you all.

Flying towards Halloween

 

I have over the course of this, odd, year been making activities for adults and kids to make at home. Halloween is going to be quite different for children this year because of Covid restrictions so maybe it's time for getting back to homemade fun, and these are fun little flying bats. 

Below is a simple template that you can alter as you like; change the ears, make larger wings, add fangs whatever you want. and then a video of how to make it.

Halloween

Armed with baskets of painted pumpkins and sticks, last weekend we were at the Halloween street festival in Perth, letting kids be creative and make pumpkins and wands.
These events are often tricky to design an activity for as it has to be quick and relatively mess free, the creation ready to go instantly, with no drying time available.

Most creations went without photographic evidence as we were so busy and sticky with glue etc but here are some, I did insist to parents that the monsters were edible as well and once halloween was over they should be peeled and cooked.
