Food Bank Britain

I went on a walk in Leith again yesterday. It is lovely to get into the city, gripping some tape and a folder of work and look and see. To find opportunities for art on the streets, in the grime and the graffiti, to talk to strangers smiling at the performance of it all and to express just how I'm feeling.

At home I am painting canvases . . . but for now this is the work that is really lighting my fire, because I see and feel keenly the mess we are in and I need to process it. These raw, tiny street collages are a balm to my soul, a tiny voice of recognition and protest in a world gone mad.
