Soundsuits III
Amazing how much fun and creativity you can have with bin liners, sellotape and a hair dryer. More here.
Soundsuits II
Below: Deflated Above: Inflated Costume by Ali using Amanda as a model.
While Annabel made her sweet snowman soundsuit the other students were, working with black bin liners, making costumes, far less sweet but great for changing shape and silhouette.
This was made even more dramatic when I remembered the inflatable street art of Joshua Allan Harris and we introduced his techniques and a hair dryer into the creative process.
Soundsuits I
My students are making soundsuits given the inspiration of Nick Cave and Lucy McRae. Annabel has already finished hers today and here she is hugging it in the bottom picture.
