Yesterday as part of Edinburgh University's 'Innovative Learning Week', I attended a days workshop by lead by illustrator Kasia Matyjaszek and children's author Janis MacKay called 'Children's Picture Books the Words and the Images.
This was an intensive course, with 40 people in attendance, which had activities designed to hone storytelling skills through creative thought and process.
It was a very concentrated, full day of diverse activities that though exhausting was over far too soon.
