Today I am off to visit The Tate in St Ives happy and scared as every time I have ever been in a Tate I have been told off . . . wish me luck.
Not this time hunni, luck's on your side ;) let me know how it went
ReplyDeleteawww Hazel, thank you for your comment and leading me to this sweet surprise! it's gonna be a good week :)).
ReplyDeletehave fun at The Tate! why are you always being told off?
The last time it was for taking a photograph (a bit like telling me not to breathe).
DeleteI had positioned my son (then aged 6) and his friend on the floor under a sculpture of a piano (they did not know it was about to explode, I did) and I took a photo of them jumping out of their skins C-:
It is a good photo I still have it somewhere.
I've been there years ago... such wonderful place actually... and not only for the Tate. I'm plenty of good memories of St Ives, included a swim in the coldest sea I've never "tasted" (I've been teeth chattering for half an hour soon after, I couldn't stop!)...
ReplyDeleteIt is great Daniela, but so busy with tourists, I think I would love to visit when it is at it's quietest maybe February.
