Love all these japanese illustrators you have posted... i remember how enthralled I was as a kid with illustrated pages...i would feel sometimes immersed in the colours in the same way I felt joyously immersed when swimming. I'll never forget that feeling... why I always think picture books are so important for children! Thanks for the reminder of where much of my early inspiration came from! S
Hisanori Yoshida is a Japanese illustrator who has some wonderful collections of work for you to discover.
Most delightful, I especially love the hues of blue in the skies and the rain drops haze :)
