These bags of flour form part of Joanne's works related to research into the life of baker and botanist Robert Dick. These stunning books were created from waste linen from the Scalpay Weaving shed in the Western Isles. The covers are digitally printed and the text inspired by three events in Robert Dicks life all related to flour sacs.
These are just gorgeous. Wonderful homage.
