In the bleak mid winter
I am trying to think of projects for this desolate bleak time of the year for all ages. As it is so dark here, I wanted to do more work with shadows, so today we used shadows of hands or profiles, we traced them and worked into them. This was with students aged 15/16 and the piece shown is by Dylan Moir.
What a great way to develop an idea. The picture looks like the beginning of a good tale about one cold night when the moon fell from the sky.
