My Childminder's daughter, Claire, looks after large birds of prey, particularly Owl's. Every year when she visits she brings an owl chick with her which for the past three years has been a real treat. Freya has had her glove on all summer pretending to have her own owl, so today I made her an owl to sit on her glove. Of course once one was completed she wanted another one for her friend, so it has been a very busy owl making day. 
How sweet,and how lucky Freya is to have such a creative mum!
