Henrique is an artist from São Paulo he became fascinated by pealing fencing, hoarding and bill boards and the textures of warping plyboard, He now uses these materials to create these stunning and disturbing instillation's. He uses 'tapumes', which in Portuguese can mean fencing, boarding, or enclosure, as a title for many of his large-scale installations. The term makes reference to the temporary wooden construction fences seen throughout the city of São Paulo where Henrique Oliviera lives.
