I loved the movement in Sophie Wake's horse it reminded me of the little dog wagging it's tail frantically in the futurist painting 'Dog on a Leash' (below) by Giacomo Balla.

Sophie Wake I
Sophie Wake's animals always look slightly puzzled or embarrassed at having been captured on her canvas, they make me smile and love their awkwardness.
