Another rainy day, and so plenty of opportunity to finish my Ptarmigan. it looks tiny in the photographs but it is 3x4 ft. It is a calm quiet painting to remind Gordon that the snow will be back soon, for some of us it may be too soon if we don't get a summer. A ptarmigan is a type of Scottish grouse.
A work in progress. Gordon requested a painting of a Ptarmigan some time ago. At last I have the time to get it started . . . so good to be painting again.
