With events unfolding in the world guided by the orange troll and his supporters, I feel like today is a good time to remember this amazing version of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Steadfast Tin Soldier retold and illustrated by Joohee Yoon published by Enchanted Lion Books 2016. 

This book has phenomenal illustrations with great textures and incredible complexity and simplicity like all of Joohee Yoon's books, it is a gem.

It was only January when I featured illustrations from Joohee Yoon's Beastly Verse. Three months later her distinctive bright printed illustrations were exhibited as part of the Bologna Illustration Exhibition so I got to see them in reality and can share a few more of these vibrant, lively, three colour prints.
