Presentation of Hippopotamus

Today was the unveiling of Glenrothes Hippo Parade, eighteen wonderful hippo's decorated by primary school children in the area. We also presented the hippo that my students and I have been working on to the Mayor of Boblingen , Wolfgang Luetzner. I love the reactions caught in this photo.

I have a new project to complete with my students, it's very exciting, and has to be finished by June 15th. In fact I have a long list of very strange projects that all finish by June the 15th. This is my NC fashion students starting to work on a hippo. I will explain the project later.

Roger Duvoisin's Veronica

Look at that hippo, isn't it wonderful? This book is a dream, the illustrations are gorgeous, and it is still in print and so you can easily add it to your collection. Roger Duvoisin was born in Geneva he was married to the author Louis Fatio both of them are responsible for creating some of my favourite children's books.
