Daphne McClure

I have selected some works by Daphne McClure that feature her observations of flocks of birds. Daphne McClure was born in 1930 and is a celebrated Cornish artist, born in Helston she attended Redruth Art School and Hornsey College of Art in London. She completed her studies at Central School of Arts and Crafts and became a costume and set designer at the Royal Opera House.  

Maggie Matthews

Maggie Matthews is a Cornish artist who paints very decorative, patterned garden scenes and studies of native plants in their natural habitats.

Kirsty Elson

I have known of Kirsty's work from notonthehighstreet, but I was very happy to find her blog and these beautiful drift wood homes with their wonderful nail chimneys. Kirsty also works in collage and textiles head over to her beach hut and have a look.
