Emma Carlow

I especially love the bats in this exhibition of ceramic works by Emma Carlow at Meiklejohn Gallery Lewes until October 25th.

“There are 2300 species that rely on oak trees for their food, a home and a breeding ground. This new work results from a time where I have begun to explore, record and celebrate this pocket of countryside incase it becomes lost. It has been a chance for me to connect with the location and to explore my confused emotions around the genuine need for housing and an equal importance to preserve green spaces, starting a conversation about these seemingly opposing agendas." Emma Carlow

Thank you Mira Gupta
