It is coming up for Bologna Children's Book Festival and it is ten years since I visited, I long for it every year, and hope so much to be able to attend again soon. Brexit made everything embarrassing and expensive for people in Britain to visit Europe, especially if you didn't vote for this disaster, if you did you are to ignorant to notice! I already felt guilt for my lack of linguistics I was brought up on ITA as a dyslexic, I could barely cope with English language so further languages proved impossible, though what I know is that each language gives a different view of the world and I think they are incredible.
Kati Närhi's picture book 'Kadoksissa' (Missing) is a silent book about longing. How does it feel to loose a friend, to miss her, to see her face everywhere (even in the moon)? 🌝 I miss my friends in Europe and a saner world.
Kati Närh will be at the Bologna Children's Book Fair with out of the cage at the wonderful Zoo!
