Hilda Theodora Miller (1876-1939) Peter Pan illustrations from 1931. Hilda always wanted to be an artist, an ambition not supported by her family, despite this she attended Birmingham, Slade and St Albans Art Schools, she was a shy woman possibly because of her deafness acquired through illness as a child.
