This book Grain Feather by Deimantė Rybakovienė was shortlisted for the Silent Book Competition 2021. The idea for the adventure of this funny bird was born watching the picturesque countryside of Lithuania, where Deimantė Rybakovienė was born and currently living. The adventure of the bird, called Grain, is about several topics like individuality, solitude, imagination and much more.I love the style of this book its chunky blocked foliage and feathers.
I miss the Bologna Children's Book Festival and Silent Book Competition so much, I miss my friends, I miss Europe I miss the interactions and magic.
