Artur Marokvia I

A Winter Friend Book, published in1961, was written by Maxine Kumin and illustrated by Artur Marokvia. Artur Marokvia was born July 21, 1909, in Stuttgart, Germany. In 1949 he emigrated to the United States in 1949 where he followed a career as an artist, illustrator, and author. His books are hard to find, but he often illustrated for his wife Mireille.
