Graham Bell (1910-1943) had a tragically short life blighted by war. His paintings are simply beautiful, painterly landscapes and portraits. Born in the Transvaal Graham moved to England aged 21 to study under Duncan Grant, one of the founders of the Euston Road School. In 1939 he joined the South African Air Force and was tragically killed while on a training flight, aged 32.
