Gillie and the Flattering Fox adapted and illustrated by Lisl Weil published in 1978. It is that ancient story of the wiley fox and its desires for a chicken. Lisl's illustrations are flowing and full of humor, the dance and music that was her passion seem to flow in her elegant lines.
