For ages, I have wanted different edging scissors and last week found an excuse, at last, to invest in some. The Arbroath Correspondence School sent a mail out about James Chalmers, the inventor of the self-adhesive postage stamp. Well, I love stamps, had no knowledge of James Charmers, and spent a very enjoyable evening making James Charmers stamps to post to Kirsty in Arbroath.
Play and freedom to have fun is so important in art and creativity and this little project has been great as a way to just engage in making art.
