I love the illustrations and indeed the concept behind this beautiful book 'The Short Elegy by Animo Chen 阿尼默 a collection of stories that have haunted the author.
Animo studied at the University of Applied Arts in Prague, Czech Republic, and was selected for Bologna in 2019. This book has been created in a multi-media way, combining hand-drawn with photography; such as wood grain, mottled old walls, oil, ink, and water, and are finally combined on the computer.
Animo's work traverses and stretches the traditional limitations of comics and book illustration to create a new narrative form.
