Mohammad Barrangi III

'In the Shadow of the Orange Tree' written by Juliana Muñoz Toroa and illustrated by Mohammad Barrangi is a journey between cultures published beautifully on a papyrus roll in the last gasp of 2020.

Layla finds a bottle buried under the roots of the orange tree that grows in front of her house. Inside a message is written from long ago that speaks to her and inhabits her dreams. The story of the tree and a mysterious neighbor will join the fate of the message found in the bottle. This book, in the form of an ancient scroll, tells a story that is told in both words and pictures.
