'Antonella und ihr Weihnachtsmann' written by Barbara Augustin, published in 1974, is such an old book and yet the illustrations by Gerhard Lahr (1938-2012) would not look out of place in todays publications and remind me of the work of Laura Carlin and Maisie Shearring.
