I love the idea of a 'Fairly Dad Mother', it is wonderful and funny and the illustrations that Francis Martin has created are just perfect, rich with observational drawing and lovely detail.
Francis Martin's stories always seem to be concealing something amazing, something secretly wonderful in the mundane.
