David Jones I

The Cricket Match, Sidmouth 1937

I had a postcard of Davids Jones's (1895-1974) work when I was a student and so it was with great fondness that I remembered him when I came across his work again today. His pencil and watercolour works are exquisitely detailed and yet fleeting like dreams or fading memories as they are so transparent.
