Yoshiharu Suzuki's illustrations to 'The Village Violin' 1979 written by Kenhisa Akaza. I love these gentle works and contemplative illustrations, which have such a different temperament and aesthetic to current western publications for children. They have a pace a contemplation, a breathing time and thinking time.
