Mural

Never work with children and animals, so the saying goes, but Oh! they make it so worth while. This week I have been painting a mural for my friend's daughter. The working conditions . . . have been tricky at times.

But a birch tree forest has emerged, with birds and animals, fungi and insects, gold leaves and stars, and there has been a very appreciative daily critique to look forward to when school is out.

Great fun to hide little secret elements like shining leaves, bees, snails (and slime) for later discovery to.
