Min-Hee Kim I

The award winning 'The Animals at My Fingertips' is the first published book by Min-Hee Kim and my first   post Bologna children's book fair Bologna article.
This book is a gem as it appeals across senses, but most profoundly to the sense of touch, with the animals having raised glossy horns, stripes or noses depending on their attributes and raised edges so you can feel their outline. Wonderfully this book is available in Braille and it is great seeing the written language next to the braille and the subtle tactility of the images.
