This unique illustration is 'The bear scare bear', by Klaas Verplancke. Wonderful to see this inventive use of packaging tape as the basis of an image. Klaas is a very honoured illustrator from Belgium, who has won the Bologna Ragazzi Award, been a finalist for the Hans Christian Andersen Award, and been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award nine times.
