Chihiro Iwasaki

Although winter has not really landed on us yet, the signs of spring awakening are all around, tree buds, and snowdrops. Chihiro Iwasaki's (1918-1974) gentle watercolour washes of children and flower seem to perfectly express this transition time from the depths of winter to the early glimmer of spring.
