Owls and home

While I have been away over the last two weeks I went home to the Norfolk broads and was very privileged to share some early mornings with barn owls, which I haven't seen in the wild since I was twelve. These incredible birds are almost like butterflies in their silent daybreak fluttering sweeps of the marsh. Their long wings and dexterous flight was wonderful to observe.
