Shozo Ozaki I

Little sparrows today from Japanese artist Shozo Ozaki  to celebrate all of the fledglings that are leaping into the air just now. The most recent fledglings here being; my seagull's only surviving chick and a wonderfully noisy squadron of excited, squealing housmartins. Summer hasn't really arrived here yet, but the year pushes on relentlessly and the birds are telling us it is almost over before it has begun.

  1. Lovely illustrations. I love sparrows, every year some of them are nestling under my roof and a large group visits me daily.
The young ones always make me smile.
And they love cheese!! Should be our dutch national bird then, eh?
