Lilli Carré's work has so many facets. In this case, I wonder if the paper has been hand-made with the thread placed on the mold before the pulp is added? Or maybe she's created these with an intaglio process where the string drawing is done on a plate of some sort and embedded as it goes through the etching press? It's fun to speculate but even more fun to behold and admire. Thanks Hazel!
