ReplyDeleteLately, I've been reading about Japanese printmaking (19th-20th century) and one of the best books of all: "Kenzan and His Tradition" by Bernard Leach (a history of the artists who virtually invented what we think of as classic Japanese ceramic design and decoration). I've always had a weak spot for this type of art.
