Australian artist Hannah Bertram works on painstakingly time consuming and detailed works of art. I love her pierced bills and envelopes, her work is epitomised by last years installations entitled 'the silence of becoming and disappearing'. For me, it is an exploration of life and its sometimes lonely and quite demise.
Amazing....don't know how you find all these wonderful artists whose work you post here, but I'm delighted...thanks so much!!! I'm very intrigued with ideas surrounding dust....the traces of our lives.
The work I am familiar with is her temporary floor drawings made fron dust! She is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes, Hannah's dust ones are fantastic.
