This Swedish artist and illustrator has created some wonderful illustrations, I love her wolves on their backs, with their pads in the air. Pija's books have been translated into Japanese, French, German and many other languages, she deals with subjects like fear, jealousy and loneliness. Luckily this one is available in English (Bridget and the Grey Wolves) and I'm thrilled, as its winging it's way to me now. However the Swedish books that Pija has published are supposed to be more daring than we are allowed, so I may soon be trying to read Swedish children's books, even me reading Scots ones makes my family laugh until they cry, but maybe thats not such a bad thing.
